I’m excited to share photos from the 5th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal of Stephanie and Pernell at the Southern Oaks Plantation in New Orleans. Stephanie and I know each other through a mutual friend and I was delighted when she asked me to shoot their vow renewal ceremony. I was particularly excited about when she told me she was having it at the Southern Oaks Plantation. I’ve always wanted the opportunity to shoot a ceremony on a plantation. The morning started off at the Sheraton Downtown New Orleans, where I was scheduled to meet to the wedding party. The morning started off cloudy with a touch of rain towards the beginning of the ceremony; but, it held out long enough for us to continue as planned. Everything about this ceremony captured the essence of Louisiana’s southern charm. It was a pleasure to work with Stephanie and Pernell and their beautiful kids in the Big Easy. Witnessing family and friends come together to celebrate 5 years of wedding bliss was an honor. Thank you for inviting me to take part in your vow renewals. I wish you a lifetime of continued love.
