Weddings and engagements in New Orleans has always been one of my absolute favorite places to shoot. The entire city is filled with so much character, culture, and historic charm. It’s a great place to capture the love between to awesome people. I met Merrel at a wedding I shot in 2015, and when his fiance Inger reached out to me to do their engagement, I was delighted! We started out early in the morning in the French Quarter and then finished at City Park. They were naturals in front of the camera, making my job pretty easy. These two were some of the sweetest and kindest couple I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, it was an honor to allow me to document their love story.
