Another wedding in my home state on the books! Weddings in Louisiana never disappoint. It was such a privilege to capture and celebrate Laurey and Joel wedding in Thibodaux, Louisiana earlier this month. If I summed Laurey and Joel’s day in three words it would be Big, Lively, and Authentic. The two started their day with a first look where they shared heartfelt moments with one another. The wedding was hosted at Laurey’s home church that included and accommodated the large number of friends and family that came to witness. It was refreshing to see the support surrounding the pair.

Joel is a minister of music and a musician. As such, music played a huge part in the day beginning with a special emotionally charged song that Joel sang to Laurey during their ceremony. Following that, the reception held at the Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium of Thibodaux was a party to remember where Joel performed with one of the two live bands.
