This weekend officially kicked off our wedding season with a beautiful celebration of love between Shelly and Kwame in New Orleans. I absolutely love Louisiana weddings. New Orleans is such a great city, from the cuisine to the second line band entertainment. So when Shelly called to book me for their wedding, I felt that the date couldn’t come soon enough. Believe me when I say this one did not disappoint me one bit!! Shelly and I went to college together so we’re no strangers. The weather was nice with the sun being a little challenging at times, but nonetheless still beautiful. This was a small intimate wedding but it was definitely a huge celebration amongst family and friends. Our day started out at the bride’s suite in the Hilton Riverside New Orleans. The ceremony and reception was at the Taravella Manor in Marrero, LA. The ceremony was held in the venue’s lush courtyard followed by an indoor reception. Shelly and Kwame were such a loving couple. From the very moment I met Kwame I could tell this man was deeply love. Emotions ran high throughout the ceremony. One of my favorite traditions at a Louisiana wedding is the second line brass band. I had the best time capturing them in action. And boy I tell you, this family can get down!! I want to thank Shelly and Kwame for allowing me to share their special day with them. I wish them and their family all the best. Enjoy!!
Hands down….JamesWillis Photography, best ever!!
