Photoshoots with couples from my hometown are some of my favorite. It’s always an honor to be hired by people you’ve known for years. It’s also an added bonus when I have the opportunity to shoot an engagement session in the New Orleans French Quarter. Joel’s proposal to Laurey has been in the making for almost a year. He started planning the surprise engagement a year ago and he was very certain that he wanted me to also do their wedding.

I’ve been fortunate to have wonderful clients that trust my vision and give me complete creative freedom for their sessions. Joel and Laurey’s love and affection for each other was easy to capture. I try to keep my engagement images limited to about ten shots, but it was too hard to narrow down my favorites so I added a few more.
